Apotheka supports our civil protection trainings with essential medical samples

Strengthening civil protection begins with awareness and preparedness – this is also reflected in the motto of the Crisis Research Centre: Think forward, think back! More and more people are beginning to understand the importance of being prepared for crisis situations – whether it’s supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, or other unexpected events that can disrupt our daily lives.
To help raise public awareness, the NGO Crisis Research Centre organizes various trainings and workshops, where we address practical steps to enhance individual, household, and community preparedness. We are pleased that our activities are supported by companies that share our vision of a stronger and more informed society. One such partner is Apotheka, who has kindly provided our centre with free medical samples that we can use during our training sessions.

Thanks to Apotheka’s support, we can give participants a hands-on look at what a well-equipped first aid kit should include. Whether it’s supplies for the home or essentials for an emergency evacuation bag – the right knowledge and visual experience help people better understand what they actually need. Participants also have the opportunity to learn through hands-on practice, which further reinforces the information and improves real-life preparedness.

First aid supplies are a crucial part of any emergency preparedness kit – knowing how to provide first aid and having the right tools on hand can save lives in a crisis. At the same time, it’s often difficult to navigate the wide range of available products and decide what is truly essential. This is where practical training sessions and the sample items provided by Apotheka come in – helping people make informed and thoughtful choices.

We would like to sincerely thank Apotheka for this valuable contribution – an investment in the development of civil protection. Thanks to their support, knowledge reaches more people and our community becomes stronger, step by step.

We are truly grateful to have partners in organizations and companies that are willing to contribute to improving Estonia’s crisis preparedness.
